It’s been a while since I posted any of our countryside adventures, since we got the house, its not exactly been top of the list. But we finally had a day out the other day, and of course visited our beloved North Yorkshire. After we stopped for our favourite lunch and an Ice cream, we decided to head in the opposite direction to where we normally go. We’re always on the lookout for villages we haven’t visited before and of course those beautiful views or cottages to take photos of. So I thought today I would share three of the most picturesque places we visited this time!
Helmsley is a quaint small market town, and has a couple of great spots to take photos, this bridge is always in North York Moors photos, especially in spring when the daffodils are in bloom.
Hutton-le-hole is one of the most picturesque and known villages in the North York moors. It is great place for a stroll around the beautiful cottages that are nestled along the small stream that runs through this idyllic village.
Now last on my list is Osmotherly, this was our first time visiting this village, and it truly is straight out of a movie, cobbled pathways, traditional store fronts, country lanes and rows of incredible cottages. If you want to feel you’ve just stepped into a period drama, this is definitely a must!
Have you visited any of these places?
Much Love
