Happy New year! I’ve had a really busy start to the year and I go away in a few days to Disneyland Paris for my birthday- yay! However I’ve made sure I’ve made time for some scrap time. I’ve been drooling over mini albums on Pinterest for a good few months, and decided to take the plunge a few days ago. I normally spend aaaaages trying to decide what to use when I scrap but this time I just grabbed whatever was on top (which included some gorgeous papers I’d just bought from the hey little magpie sale) and it actually made it so much easier as I wasn’t surrounded by thousands (okay maybe not thousands) of products. I’ve decided to do a summer mini album and will do each event in summer with a slightly different theme/colours etc but keep it all tied together by using similar embellishments through out. I love anything Maggie Holmes, and they mix well with the We R memory keepers Wild Flower die cut shapes. I’ve had so much fun with this already and I’ve actually done quite a lot of pages but want to wait for my rings to arrive before I share it all. I’ve loved being able to create something that is so tactile to touch and just mix so many patterns and embellishments together. I’m so excited by this project, and can’t wait to share with you my progress. Let me know what you think of my first pages below, and I’d also love to know what details in future you would like me to share!
Much Love
