This weekend we took a trip to the North York Moors to visit some of our favourite villages for a little vintage hunting (I’ll share my haul another day!) , as well as finding as many Christmas trees as we could! We made sure to stop at Whitby, so we could visit our favourite vintage store, pick up some fresh warm donuts in these freezing temperatures and also see their Christmas lights. We always visit Whitby in the winter, there’s just something about it that we love it in the cold months, but we’ve never seen the Christmas lights. It was a rainy evening, but it completely added to the glow of the narrow streets, the twinkling bright lights reflecting on the old pavements. It really was a magical cold evening- I’ll let the photos do all the talking!
I’d definitely recommend a trip to see the lights, the cold wind from the sea, and all the traditional shop windows really do create a magical feeling, and of course who can resist some fresh donuts to keep warm!
Much Love
